The Story

Have you ever just tried to read your bible chapter by chapter? I have and it is so hard to fully understand it. Plus it gets really overwhelming. I have been doing a bible study called Seamless, and it has changed the way I understand the bible. She presents it as a story and once you go through week by week you gain so much more understanding and are able to read the bible so differently. I was able to start putting people together that I haven’t been able to do before. The Hard Conversations

Ok so back to my favorite podcast again Rise Together, seriously if you have not listened to this yet you have to its so good. This episode is all about the hard conversations that are so important in your marriage. Hard conversations let’s just be honest, suck! lol. You want to avoid these at all cost, but you cannot if you really want true growth in your marriage. Rachel and Dave have this way of talking about these things that makes it so real and relatable that it inspires you. These conversations are vital to the growth of your marriage. Are they going to be enjoyable? Absolutely not. Are you necessarily going to enjoy your spouse’s presence after these conversations? No, but what these conversations will do is show that you want what’s best for your marriage and that you want what is best for each other.
