Life Saver

This post is just for fun and to share a couple of things that have made my life easier. Now that we have moved and we have a pool we are constantly in the water I decided to take the leap and invest in some good pool toys, goggles, towels, you name it. But let me tell you, these goggles, or as they are called Frogglezs, will change your life, and thank you to one of our good friends who told us about them. If you have kids you need to order these ASAP! The girls can easily put them on themselves and they do not pull their hair (moms everywhere rejoice)! The goggles also have adjustable straps on the side so there isnt any worry with the goggles not fitting tight enough around their eyes, and we have not had any problems with water getting in their eyes which is something that was a constant hassle. Another thing we love is that when they take them off they float and do not sink. Motherhood

The highs and lows of being a mom are oh so real. I had no idea when I became a Mom how much giving of myself it would take. There are days when being with girls fuels me, and there are those days when it drains the life out of me. Lately during summer I have felt more like a constant referee than a mom. Being a mom is hard and exhausting, it has its ups and downs, but at the end of the day I would not trade these girls for anything. I have found that reading devotionals or bible studies encourage me truly help open my eyes as a mother and have a more optimistic outlook on my day. It helps me to be more patient with them and to show them a little more grace. Because at the end of the day, they are kids and they are going to make many mistakes.  As a mom we are asked to raise these tiny humans to grow up and be people of God and to love as He loves us.
